As said by James Bread “Food is our common ground, a universal Experience”, food is the only thing that is loved by everyone all around the world without any doubt. Kerala food is one of the greatest cuisines in India, it includes both vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods. Traditional breakfast of Kerala includes Appam, Dosa, Idli, Puttu and Tapioca. The most attractive part of Kerala Meals is the Sadhya which is most commonly served during the Onam festival; It is served with rice and curries like Sambar, Aviyal, Kichadi, Thoran, Pappadom, Curd, Rasam and many more. The flavour of Kerala food is the fresh spices that are grinded using traditional Ammikallu (The Grinding Stone) and its rich aroma is attained by the use of Coconut Oil in it. Kerala cuisine not only specializes in the Vegetarian foods but equally stands out for the Non-Vegetarian foods also. The main non-veg dishes include Seafoods like Fish, Prawn, Crabs, Clams and Squid. Some of the famous seafood items are Kerala Fish curry, the clams fry and Prawn fry.
The guest who booked for the cooking class is picked up from the office at 1.45 pm. Mainly 6 Kerala dishes are demonstrated for guests. It’s a class involving the learner and they get an idea about how to cook the items. The health benefits of the dishes are also explained in the class. The main aim of “We Cooks’’ is to spread the taste of Kerala into the world.
