Anamudi Peak is the highest peak in South India at an elevation of 2,695 metres (8,800 ft). Situated on the top of the Eravikulam National Park, this peak is the pride of Idukki district, Kerala. Anamudi is also known as Anai Mudi and has a topographic prominence of 2,479 metres. The Anamudi peak is famous for trekking expeditions in Munnar.
