THOOVANAM WATERFALLS MUNNAR

One of the beautiful waterfalls in Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary, Munnar. It becomes active and beautiful when it is raining. The access to this waterfall is permitted and it is visible from the Munnar - Udumalpet road. Permission from the forest office Alampetty is required to make a beautiful trek with a guide through the semi-evergreen forest to Thoovanam waterfall. Thoovanam Waterfalls is located in the Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary. Thoovanam waterfalls is considered to be a perfect place for trekking and is around 60 km away from Munnar town.

Thoovanam Waterfalls visit is starting from 9.30 am to 5 pm under the Echo tourism, Kerala wildlife, Munnar.

How to reach Thoovanam waterfalls?

This mesmerising tourist spot is situated within Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary, which is about 50 km away from Munnar. You can take a bus or hire a cab from top car rental companies in Munnar to reach Alampetty check post. From there, you will trek along with a guide on a 4 km long trail to Thoovanam Falls.
